Are you thinking about building a natural swimming pool? There are many ways to approach design, whether it’s the shape of the pool or the natural landscaping that you incorporate with it. Here are some of my favorite natural pool design ideas to give you a little inspiration for your own build.
Nestling the pool at the base of a hill with a lot of natural landscaping around can really blend the pool in with the surrounding environment.
A lovely waterfall feature in this design cascades into a lower pool surrounded by natural stone. The perch at the top of the waterfall with a lounge area is also a nice touch.
I really like the decking that extends into the pool space here. This natural pool is also right off the house, with the back patio and entertaining area right there.
A great freeform pool accented by a combination of natural stone and concrete pavers. You can lounge in the shallow area on top of the pebbles or swim in the deeper end.
Instead of being right next to the house, this pool is in the middle of the yard. The swimming area is surrounded by lily pads and other natural landscaping, which really blends the pool into the surrounding backyard.
A much larger pool with a lot of natural stone accents in a separate shallow area of the pool. The seating wall that separates the two is perfect for lounging.
The deck surrounding this natural pool leads to a trail with tons of brush on either side. Very secluded and relaxing.
Tall weeds and a nice walk-in shallow end. The patio leads right to the backyard and is a great space for lounging or entertaining.
Very secluded and has a lot of tall landscaping with small decks on either side.
This circular pool has a ton of great tall trees around it and natural stone pavers leading up to it.
Lots of natural stone surrounds this pool and it has a tremendous walk-in entrance.
The terraced design of this natural pool has a great look to it. The large stones and small deck with seating tie this pool area together.
The small bridge is an excellent touch on this natural pool. The view from the top of this terraced backyard also has to be spectacular.
